This is one of four stages that appear in Octo Canyon missions, alongside The Reef, Musselforge Fitness, and Moray Towers.The stage name is a reference to humpback whales and pump tracks. The layout in this mode is exactly the same as Rainmaker. The basket on this stage is located at opposing ends of the central area, making access to the basket fairly easy. A sponge has been added near the pedestal. The left wall has been removed and that area has been slightly extended, allowing players to jump to the area from the checkpoint. In Splatoon 3 the checkpoints are located to the far right and to the far left of the stage. As of version 5.0.0, it is exclusively available in Private Battles. Blocks to the side of the stage make access to the opposing team's side harder. It was the second variation of Shifty Station, and first appeared in the Flight vs. It has so far only been exclusively features in Splatfests, and has the ability to transform between Splatfests. Inkrails have been added to make getting to the center of the stage faster. The Shifty Station is one of the versus maps in Splatoon 2. Humpback Pump Track offers two points of entry: going around from the right track, or going straight and then turning left to climb a newly added wall to the same layer of the pedistal. The goal is located at the far end of the opposing team's side, being located as far the opposing team can go. The Rainmaker is located at the center of the stage on top of the hump. The third checkpoint is located just below the ledge where the goal is. The second checkpoint is located after the Tower has traveled the entire span of the lower alley just before it raises into the enemy territory.
